Texas Researchers Claim Diabetes Cure

Scientists and researchers from the University of Texas maybe have found a diabetes cure. This treatment to cure diabetes is considered unconventional. The UT team headed by Ralph DeFronzo has found a way to make existing cells in the pancreas perform the work of insulin producing beta cells. They have performed successful tests on mice. The team has cured the mice of diabetes while reporting that human clinical trials are at least 3 years away.

This all sounds very promising for the diabetes community. BUT, It’s getting very frustrating always hearing them say “it’s years away from being available commercially”. Diabetics all around the world will surely agree.
