ALERT: Medtronic Recall 600 Series Insulin Pumps
The FDA has issued a class 1 recall on Medtronic’s 600 series Minimed insulin pumps due to a missing or broken retainer ring. The faulty retainer ring causes over or under insulin dosing. The retainer ring keeps the insulin cartridge firmly locked into the pump. There has been 1 confirmed death. Read full article here!
