Researchers at the University of Alabama at Birmingham revealed 'Verapamil', (common blood pressure medication) helps adults with Type 1 diabetes.\r\n\r\nThe UAB researchers said Verapamil can help promote more insulin production in adults with recent onset Type 1 diabetes. The treatment limits the need for insulin injections.
